Senior QA Manual Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior QA Manual Engineer who will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our fintech products by conducting thorough testing and identifying potential issues before release. This role is crucial in delivering seamless, secure, and user-friendly digital experiences. The desired candidate should have a deep understanding of trading concepts such as order matching, market depth, and blockchain transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis and test strategy design
• Functional, Regression, Integration, and Exploratory Testing
• Making sure the order life cycle works, does order matching function correctly, etc
• Validate Wallet Transactions and Crypto Trading Flows
• Perform API testing and simple Database validation
• Log defects in Jira by assigning the correct severity and priority levels
• Ongoing involvement in sprint planning, release validation, and production testing
• Guide junior QA team members and promote effective QA practices in the team

Test Planning & Strategy

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on project requirements.
• Define testing strategies and processes for functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.

Test Execution

• Conduct extensive manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Validate functionality, usability, and performance to ensure optimal user experiences (UX).
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs through bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
• Collaboration & Communication’s Work closely with development teams during the entire SDLC to ensure high- quality deliverables.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as regular standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members on testing status, issues, and risks.

Defect Tracking & Reporting

• Analyse and report bugs with clear steps to reproduce and relevant documentation.
• Communicate with developers and product teams to address defects and verify fixes.

Test Documentation

• Create and maintain detailed documentation for test results, bugs, and system issues.
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies based on project feedback.

Continuous Improvement

• Research new tools, technologies, and testing trends to improve the overall testing process.
• Mentor junior testers and share knowledge on testing best practices and techniques.
