Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Preparation of financial statement, including notes, according to applicable Accounting Standards
  • Preparation and review of MIS reports for management decision-making
  • Revenue accounting, financial analytics, and P&L
  • Prepare a monthly budgeting and cost variance analysis with an in-depth explanation
  • Preparing variance reports and meaningful insights for leadership

Taxation & Compliance

  • TDS and GST returns: review & management
  • Monitoring statutory compliance and filings under all applicable laws in due time
  • Manage Softex filings and STPI compliance process
  • Liaise with tax consultants and auditors for assessments and filings

Export & Trade Finance

  • Handle all export operations and related documentation & compliance of software services
  • Static export finance activities, including banking coordination and LC management
  • Compliance with the import export regulation framework and RBI policy
  • Ensure maintenance and updating of FEMA / DGFT / Customs compliance register

Process & Policy Management

  • Develop and execute policies, SOPs, and inter-departmental agreements
  • Lead process improvements and standardization initiatives across finance and admin functions
  • Internal controls, governance frameworks, and audit readiness
  • Prepare and maintain documentation and records management systems

Administration & Facilities

  • Manage daily office administration, including vendors and facilities management
  • Oversee service providers and landlord contracts, agreements, and renewals
  • Manage administrative staff and align HR-admin interface activities
  • Manage procurements, assets, and office inventory
  • Ensure compliance with the Company’s travel, expense, and reimbursement policies
  • Assist with corporate secretarial and compliance matters in conjunction with legal counsel

Stakeholder & Team Coordination

  • Work with internal partners like HR/TA to improve reporting capabilities (e.g., outplacement visibility of percentage hikes and cost analytics
  • Coordinate with auditors, consultants, the bank, and regulatory authorities
  • Financial inputs to business proposals, client contracts, and leadership reviews
  • Assist with fundraising and investor reporting activities as needed

Qualifications & Experience

  • CA / CPA / CFA or MBA (Finance) equivalent professional qualification
  • 5-10 relevant work experience in finance, accounting, and administration positions
  • Strongly prefer previous experience in the export of software services or IT/ITES/Fintech environment
  • Solid understanding of Indian taxation, statutory compliance, and regulatory frameworks
  • Knowledge of accounting software (Tally, SAP, etc) and MS Office / Excel
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional and stakeholder collaboration
