Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst who is detail oriented and will help us to improve the process of change over planning and delivery who has 3–5 years of experience to join our fintech team. A Strong candidate would be responsible for collecting, analysing, and converting business requirements into precise functional specifications for product and engineering teams. Work experience in fintech, digital payments, banking systems, or crypto platforms would be an added advantage.

Familiarity with AI-powered products, data-driven solutions and mechanisms for regulatory compliance will be a plus. Responsibilities require excellent communication, writing and documentation skills, the ability to work in high pressure dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for developing and enhancing web applications based on provided design and flow.

Strategic & Analytical

• Align business processes, product features, and solutions with the companys strategic objectives.
• Conduct data-driven analysis on trading metrics, liquidity, user behaviour, and operational efficiency.
• Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for platform improvement.
• Analyse competitor offerings and market trends to inform product decisions.

Product & Process

• Gather, define, and validate business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
• Create clear documentation including BRDs, PRDs, process maps, and user stories.
• Lead requirements workshops and solution design discussions with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, compliance, and operations to ensure successful delivery.
• Develop and maintain KPIs for features, processes, and operational performance.

Risk & Compliance

• Evaluate potential risks in product features and operational processes; propose mitigation strategies.
• Stay informed on global crypto regulations, ensuring compliance with KYC/AML requirements.
• Recommend security best practices for crypto transactions, wallets, and user assets.

Change & Stakeholder Management

• Drive change management efforts for new features or processes, ensuring smooth adoption.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
• Create feedback loops to monitor feature adoption and continuously improve the product

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s or specialisation in Fintech, Blockchain, or Cryptocurrency preferred.
• 2+ years as a Business Analyst in fintech or trading platforms; at least 2 years in the crypto space strongly preferred.
• Experience working in agile product development environments.
• Hands-on experience with crypto trading platforms, blockchain fundamentals, and wallet management.
• Technical Knowledge
• Understanding of blockchain technologies, consensus mechanisms, and smart contracts.
• Familiarity with crypto analytics tools, order matching engines, liquidity management, and market-making.
• Knowledge of crypto-specific security practices (e.g., multi-sig wallets, cold storage).
• Strong data analytics skills: able to interpret trading data, liquidity trends, and market activity.
• Practical knowledge of trading concepts such as order types, leverage, margin, risk limits, PnL calculation, and market microstructure.
• Experience in spot, derivatives, or options trading (crypto or traditional markets).
• Understanding of trading psychology, liquidity dynamics, and execution strategies.

• Strong communication skills to explain complex crypto concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• High adaptability to fast-changing market and regulatory environments.
• Proven risk assessment and problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across technical, operational, and business teams
