Cloud Security Engineer

As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and implementing best-in-class security practices.

You will work closely with DevOps, software development, and IT teams to ensure our cloud environments are secure, compliant, and resilient against evolving cyber threats. The candidate must be able to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, while contributing to the growth and strategic vision of our FinTech and Cryptocurrency software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud and application security architecture reviews for new and existing AWS workloads.
• Design and implement secure, scalable, and compliant AWS cloud infrastructures.
• Define and enforce cloud and container security standards, baselines, and guardrails.
• Implement and manage AWS-native security services:
• IAM, VPC Security Groups, KMS, GuardDuty, Config, Security Hub, Inspector, CloudTrail, and CloudWatch.
• Secure containerized platforms: Amazon ECS, EKS, Docker, and Fargate.
• Integrate and manage container security tools (e.g.,Checkmark, Prisma Cloud, Aqua, Twistlock, Sysdig).
• Perform image scanning, runtime analysis, and secrets detection within container pipelines.
• Automate security controls and compliance validation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Provide security oversight for CI/CD pipelines, integrating tools for SAST, DAST, secret scanning, and compliance checks.
• Collaborate with solution architects, DevOps, infrastructure, and product teams on secure design patterns.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for new cloud-native projects.
• Participate in cloud-related incident response, forensics, and root cause analysis.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with 3+ years focused on AWS cloud security.
• Strong background in cloud architecture review,threat modeling, and secure solution design.
• Hands-on experience with ECS, EKS, Docker, and container security platforms.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)–Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Understanding of cloud networking, encryption, IAM, authentication, and authorization.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and CI/CD security integrations.
• Experience in cloud monitoring, log analysis, and incident response.
