Wallet Address

A wallet address is a unique combination of letters and numerals that works as the email address of a digital wallet. In the cryptocurrency landscape, it is used to send and receive cryptocurrencies and Non-fungible Tokens (NFTs). Every cryptocurrency has its unique and specific wallet address format. Bitcoin’s wallet addresses generally start with “bc1”, and for Ethereum, they begin with “0x”.

It is crucial to verify the wallet address before sending cryptocurrencies, as entering the wrong address can result in the loss of cryptocurrency. All the transactions initiated to a wallet address are accessible and pseudonymous because they are recorded on a blockchain.
