Penetration Testing

Penetration testing, popularly known as pen test, is a security test in which a simulated cyberattack is launched in the computer system to identify vulnerabilities and loopholes. Pen tests are conducted as additional measures because the vulnerability assessment may not be sufficient to identify all loopholes in the system.

Penetration testing helps the cybersecurity team by providing them with information about how hackers can exploit these loopholes and vulnerabilities to access sensitive information and data within the system. With the help of pen tests, the security team can design a secure network that is resilient to real-world cyberattacks.
