Blockchain interoperability is the characteristic of a blockchain that enables it to communicate with other blockchains or non-blockchain systems, allowing for the read and write of data. It is highly beneficial in app development because it allows developers to extract data from different blockchains and use it on a single platform. This feature enables existing companies and governments to integrate blockchain to streamline information and build projects.
