We’re looking for a frontend engineer who’s spent the last few years building real products with React and Next.js, not just following tutorials. You’ll be working across the stack on the frontend side, from sprint planning to shipping to fixing what breaks in production.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and maintaining web applications that are fast, responsive, and built to scale, using React.js and Next.js
- Turning UI/UX designs into interfaces that match pixel for pixel, across screen sizes
- Hooking up REST APIs, WebSockets, and third-party services as needed
- Working on performance, SEO, and the overall user experience, not just shipping features and moving on
- Sitting in on sprint planning, giving honest effort estimates, and reviewing teammates’ code
- Tracking down production bugs and fixing them without leaving a mess behind
What You Need to Have
- At least 3 years of building frontend applications professionally
- Solid, hands-on experience with React.js or Next.js; this isn’t a nice-to-have
- Comfortable with JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 day to day
- Worked with Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Context API for state management
- Hands-on with REST API and WebSocket integration
- A real grasp of responsive design, cross-browser quirks, and SEO fundamentals
- Genuinely good at debugging, the kind of person who enjoys tracking down a weird bug
Nice to Haves
- Background in fintech, trading platforms, crypto, or blockchain products
- Some exposure to micro frontend architecture
- Familiarity with Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or React Testing Library
- Comfortable around AWS, Cloudflare, or CI/CD pipelines
